Our experienced design team specializes in gaining a thorough understanding of your backyard space, your goals, and your overall vision for your outdoor living areas. Once you are satisfied with our custom patio design and material choices, our skilled installation crew will construct your new patio with the highest level of quality available in the Richmond, VA and NWA area. We only use the highest quality pavers, natural stone, and materials available when constructing your custom patio and walkways, and our installation crews have extensive experience in the field. Phase 1: Discovery and Discussion
A scheduled initial discovery call where Billy, our owner and founder, will listen closely to your vision and discuss the vision for your project. During this call, a free estimate will be provided.
Phase 2: On-site Consultation
Scheduled FREE estimate review and site visit – we ask the everyone making decisions on your project should try and be present during this meeting.
We usually anticipate 30 to 45 minutes for the estimate visit. We will look at the site, identify any unusual challenges, discuss product options, and answer any questions you may have. Scheduled follow up visit to discuss the estimate, answer questions, make edits based on changes, budget adjustments, etc.
Phase 3: Design and Proposal
Based on the on-site visit and discussions, a 2D design will be rendered and a detailed proposal including scope of work, contract terms and conditions, project quote and project agreement. The quote is for a turn key project. Any additional charges will only occur through a signed change order during construction.
There is a Design and Proposal Fee that starts at $500.00. This fee will be an applied credit to the overall investment when the contract is accepted.
Phase 4: Discus and Review
Scheduled follow up visit to discuss the design and proposal, answer questions, and discuss edits based on changes, budget adjustments, etc.
Revised design and proposal are usually emailed to you within 3-5 business days at no additional cost.
All estimates are good for 30 days and must be re-estimated after 30 days.
Phase 5: Agreement and Deposit
HOA - After receiving a signed agreement for your project, our office staff will assist in completing your HOA paperwork and getting the supported documents for you to turn in and get approval. Schedule Read, Initial, and Sign your agreement. Turn that with your 50% deposit into the office.
Once agreement and deposit are received your project we will work with you to schedule the project.
Our team will schedule for utilities to be marked.
Our time frames are estimated. Our projects are outdoor projects and there are many variables that have to come together to keep the flow of work on time.
Phase 3: Installation
Materials ordered and delivered. Crew begins site preparation and setup.
If you have a particular spot that you do not want materials placed, please notify us in advance.
Once work begins we invite you to be engaged with the project during our work hours. You do not have to be present, but it helps everything move smoothly if you review the work and ask questions if you have any as the project is progressing.
Changes to the project due to unforeseen site conditions, changes in design, materials, scope will require an approved change order indicating revised costs.
Cleanup and final inspection and project completion.
Please schedule and be aware of final payment 1 week upon project completion. We accept credit cards with a 2.8% credit card fee.
There are No Warranties on plants/shrubs. Unfortunately we cannot warranty plants. Once planted we can’t guarantee the maintenance after the fact.
If your project consists of moving existing plants/shrubs there is an additional charge and there is no guarantee/warranty on the lifespan of the plant/shrub.
